I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Kayla and Zeke. Kayla has been watched over by the previous sheriff ever since she and her brother lost their dad and he lost a fellow officer. He is retiring though and Kayla worries about what the station will be like with him gone. Though she knows what she is she wonders if she is jumping from one situation to another. Zeke knows from the moment he meets Kayla that she is a sub. But it is more than that she is a sub he wants to protect. Can these two find a HEA or will there jobs make that impossible?
Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
