I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we meet Quinn and Vanessa. Vanessa isn't the smallest person in the office so she doesn't think that her drulle worthy boss would even take a second look at her. So when she is dared at the company party to kiss her boss, in her drunken stupor she thinks this is a good idea. The next morning not so much. The problem is that one little kiss is turning into so much more.
Quinn has wanted Vanessa for quite a while he just can't get her to pick up the signals he is sending out. So when she kisses him at the party he thinks he finally has a real shot with her. The problem is he is hiding a secret that could tear them apart if he isn't careful.
This is a great book about finding your mate and having a heck of a time making sure she knows it. The dynamic between these characters will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This is a shorter story but it is an amazing story.
