In this book we meet Erin Woods and Erik Godunov. Erik has gotten custody of his niece after his sister was killed in a car accident. Though he is determined to be there for the girl he knows she is growing up fast and as a 10 year old she needs a woman in her life. Erik has always looked for the one to complete him but so far no luck. That is until his right hand man tells him about a girl on the streets who would be perfect for the nanny position with his niece. All it takes is listening to her to know he has found his one now he just needs to claim her. Erin has has a rough life as a child she was put into the foster care system after it was found her parents were junkies and not taking care of her. She finds this out when a social worker practically spits that in her face and tells her she will amount to nothing. Things are up and down from there in her life until and incident leads her to start living on the streets. Something happens though when she comes to the Godunov home. She feels something she never has before, safe. Will these two find a HEA or will someone from the past make sure that never happens?

This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Alien Rapunzel by Zara Zenia

 

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Laura and we get Prince Rawklix's story. Rawklix knows what his other brother's think of him. Oh he is the youngest there for he was the most spoiled by their father. What they don't understand is how driven he is by his father just like the others were but in other ways. What he does know is he has been on the planet for the last 4 years and unlike his brothers he has been unable to find his mate. He is lonely especially now that all of them have found their mates and decides maybe it is time for a chance of venue. When his brother suggests Miami he figures it doesn't hurt to give it a try. That's when he sees her on a television interview well more like the hated Nora Morse claiming the woman with her is her adopted daughter. Laura is rarely let out of the tower her mother says it is so she isn't kidnapped again and looses her memories once more. The only times she does is when her mother gives interviews or when they are forces to be somewhere where her mother must keep an eye on her. She has found ways to give herself the illusion of freedom but has not experienced it. One day when her mother leaves the tower she gets an email that gives her a ray of hope. Rawklix has written her and though she is not sure if this is a trap or not she longs to see him and speak with him. Will these two find their HEA or will outside forces make sure that never happens?

This is the 7th book in this series and though they can all be read as stand alone's. I recommend reading them in order so no secrets are revealed. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about (boy do I want to tell you). However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Burning Up: Firefighter Box Set by K. C. Crowne

 

I received this box set with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. 

In this set we get 4 story of men who know how to start a fire and also how to put it out. These men might have found the women they want to call theirs but keeping not always the easiest especially when those closest to them are pulling them away. These men know how to fight a blaze though and to get threw the fire and on the other side to the women they love they will fight that battle. What will the HEA look like in the end though. 

This is an amazing box set. It does have its ups and downs. Each story has a so many things I want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin these stories for any other readers. I will say this set will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Jackal by Frankie Love

 

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we get Lydia and Jackal's story. After Jackal's past her is sure he doesn't deserve a good girl like Lydia but he is darn sure going to protect her from anyone else. So when he goes to a bonfire he hears she is going to be at and sees some guy looking like he is bothering her he goes over. He isn't sure at the time but he thinks she just might want him too. If only he could get over thinking he isn't good enough for her. Lydia has watched Jackal all but run from her every time she tries to talk to him. Sometimes he just walks away others it's off on his bike he goes all she needs is one chance to show him he's what she wants. So at the bonfire when a preppy guy keeps trying to talk to her even though she doesn't want him to she is happy to see him there. When they get alone it is a now or never type of chance so she kisses him first. Will this be a HEA for them both or will Jackal take this as his opportunity to put as much space as possible between them?

This is an amazing book in this series. Though I would recommend reading the entire series. It can be read as a stand alone. This book does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Review of Hot Summer Night by Lauren Milson

 

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Summer, Noah, and Xavier. When this story opens we find that Summer is about to start her final semester of college. Her roommate believes that she should celebrate and go out and have fun maybe even punch her V-card. The problem with this is Summer's heart already belongs to not one but two men already. They are her late father's best friend and so far haven't made any move to show her they want to be more than that. Noah and Xavier have been friends since childhood, joined the academy together and both became police officers, and friends of Summer's dad's. So before he died they had promised to take care of her and planned on honoring that promise. The things is they want to do more than honor the promise they want her for themselves. Can they all get the HEA they are hoping for or will they all just remain in the friend zone forever?

This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

In this book we meet Jasmine Tate and Maddox Mapleton. Maddox knows they are coming for him his partner set him up and the fed are on the way into the building to come get him. What is he going to do? Well for him it is find the one woman he has watched on the CCTV more than he ever should. He is determined to find this woman and make her his. Jasmine knows there are times she should be working and all she can do is stare at picture of her boss. To be fair his picture is everywhere including her screen saver. She knows though that a man of his caliber would never come down to her level for any reason. What happens when he does though? Is it the beginning of the a HEA for both of them or will the reasons Maddox needs to run make it so they can never be together?

This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you on a roller-coaster you won't want off of even when you read those two words "the end". I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Chelsea Novak and Mason "Gunnar" Blaise. Chelsea and Gunner dated in high school until her father made her give up the relationship. When this book opens they are back together again and this time dad's going to make sure Gunnar never comes back into his daughters life. See Chelsea is ready to tell everyone she is with Gunnar but her father won't let that every happen and he does everything including send the police after this man to make sure he stays away from his daughter. Oh how can he get away with that easy his a politician with way to much power. When Chelsea ends up marrying the man she didn't want to but had to, to save Gunnar he can't believe it and is determined to protect himself this time and there is no going back to that woman. To bad that woman is the only one he truly wants. Will these two get the HEA they deserve or will daddy dearest win in the end and not only take down Gunnar but the entire club with him?

This is an amazing book by Nina. I was a fan in the past but even without that this one will suck you in. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. Oh do I want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will  say this book will grab you on page one and not let go even when the story is done. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

In this book we get Emory's story and we are introduced to Justin. When this book opens we find Jaguar siblings Justin and Jodie running for their lives with Jodie's daughter Alice. While on the run for Jodie's husbands pack she is killed while on the run she makes her brother promise to protect her daughter at all costs. A woman finds the cub and goes to help it when Justin steps out of the woods worse for wear. He is sure he knows this woman and the town she takes him to when he learns who she is he wonders if he has gone from the frying pan into the fire. Emory has a mother who barely acknowledges her hasn't most of her life. A father who isn't around and she is better off for that. And one night stands that she goes through on a regular bases. She has a no repeat rule for anyone man she sleeps with either human or shifter. That is until she sees Justin and his niece. She decides to help them until they can get to Justin's fathers pride. Will these two have a HEA they both want or will this be a nice gesture with nothing else to back it?

In this book we meet Greta and Tolcan. When this book opens we find that the Rogues have come to earth because their home planet is made up of more men then women. They came to Earth because it most resembled their home planet. With the harsh welcome they received instead of working together with earthlings they void to enslave them. When they found that earth women could be genetically matched with them they turned them into breeders. Greta is one of very few human groups hiding out from the rouges. Tolcan is an enforcer sent to round up all the humans. The more he sees though the more he questions the wisdom of it. When these two lay eyes on one another for the first time something just clicks. Though Tolcan knows trust is not given in an instant he knows he is suppose to keep this woman for himself as his mate no matter how illegal it is. Will these two find a HEA or will outside forces make sure that never happens?

I am impressed with this type of book from this author it is not typically what I read from her. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

In this book we meet McKenna Roy and Micah "Doc" Masters. All Micah has wanted since the minute he went into basic until the time he got out was to be back on the Knotty Wood Ridge Ranch. The thing is it use to be him and his sister running the ranch. Now he has no problem with the fact that his sister wants to be a baker in fact he is very proud of the shop she opened in town. That however means he needs a new ranch hand. McKenna has known Doc for as long as she can remember. She even remembers being on their farm looking for him to be home on leave. When she learns he needs a new ranch hand she wants to be the one to be there for him. Will these two find that HEA or will they continue to be two ships passing in the night?

In this book we meet Rose and Sebastian. Rose is a journalist and has had a bit of a problem. See in her previous story it was found that the source wasn't credible. Instead of pulling the story her editor ran it and when things went south she was to blame. Now he is demanding that she get dirt on Sebastian for a story or she is out of a job. She comes in as one of the maids and is surprised to find Sebastian in the office so early. One look is all it takes for her to wish she never had to write this story and could have him all for herself. Sebastian has been a workaholic for so long that he barley notices it anymore. One morning when he comes in early he finds the new cleaning lady looking through his trash. When she turns when he confronts her about what she is doing and finds the woman he has been looking for. The more he thinks about her the more he wants her to be with him. Will these two find the HEA they both want or will outside forces make sure that never happens?

In this book we meet Kennedy Mortensen and Wyatt Drake. When this book opens we find that Kennedy has traveled to another town to find food off the beaten path. She has never found a place she wants to put down roots at but figures when she finds it she will know. So when she comes to the town of Grove she is surprise by how much she wants to stay. There is something going on here that she isn't sure about but really wants to find out. Wyatt is still recovering from his breakup. When he finds he has no choice but to leave his home or starve he chooses the local diner. There is a woman there that immediately grabs his attention. No matter how much he wants to turn away he seems like his attention is constantly drawn to her. Will these two find the type of home they have always dreamed of or will fear of the unknown make that impossible?

In this book we meet Senna Duncan, Benjamin Alder, James Carter, & Chase Baldwyn. When this book opens we find that Senna is a dancer at a club where women can take as much or as little as they want off. Her goal though was to earn enough money so she could go to college and that is what she is doing starting the next day. The small problem she has is when her boss asks her to dance for the birthday guy there are two men dressed and look similar to the description her boss gave her. Now what was her problem oh ya she gave a lap dance to the wrong man and he happened to be her english professor she sees in her first class that next morning. The men however talk and when Benjamin tells James about his new student James just has to meet her. Chase well he meets her when she comes in to discuss her assignment with her professor Benjamin. All these men thing she is not only gorgeous but incredibly intelligent as well. Will Senna make it in this school or will the people who have it out to get her make that just a pipe dream for her?

In this book we actually get 4 short stories. Each of these stories contain couples find that though they may want the other the path to true happiness isn't always the easiest one. You will find yourself rooting for the couples one moment and wanting to slap them the next. This is an amazing group of stories I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone.

In this book we meet River Radcliffe and twins Cash & Cal Wilde. Cash and Cal have been signed up on mate.com for years now but they have gotten no response. Both are starting to feel the desire to settle down with their mate and just wish they could find her. The brothers are not looking for 1 mate but 2 and that is why the error throws them when they see it on their profile. River lived in a compound that luckily her father was high enough ranking that she didn't have to endure all of what the other women went through but she went through enough. Once it was disbanded she went to go live her with grandparents and they helped her heal a lot but they have sheltered her as well. On a whim she decides to sign up for mate.com while on her way out to her internship and is curious when she sees not 1 man but 2 on her screen before she gets an error message. Will these three find that being together is better than being alone or will the sins from the past make a future for all impossible?

In this book we meet Gino Arman and Crete Smith. when this book opens we find Crete all dressed up and ready for his first gallery showing. Only to find the gallery in flames and he is sure his paintings went up with it. Now running out of money and about to be homeless he needs to find something that will give him a place to live and a job. Gino had married his alpha and gone through all the routes only to never get pregnant. He thought he and his alpha could adopt but his alpha went with someone who could give him his own family and Gino well he finally gets that baby he wanted even without his partner. Gino knows he can't go back to work without a Manny so when the agency calls him right as the person shows up he isn't sure what to think. What happens when two high school loves find each other again. Will this be the beginning of a HEA or just a job when done they can both walk away from?

In this book we meet Veronica, Bryce, Liam, and Pax. When this book opens we find that Veronica has come to this remote cabin to interview for a nanny position. See she was just recently fired because the wife was sure she was sleeping with her husband. She had no interest in the man but the woman didn't believer her. Well that would have been the end of it except for the fact that she saw the ad for the nanny position and decided to try. The next mistake she made was thinking Bryce and Liam were a couple. Since they were both wearing wedding rings she thought it was an honest assumption. They are not a couple their story is so much more interesting. When Pax arrives she finds out it is three old friends that spend their vacation at this house. They ask her to give them all a chance and with limited options she agrees. What happens next is something no one saw coming Pandemic hit. Can these 4 find a life they didn't think they would ever find or will it be just something that happened while under lock-down?

The thing is Charlene is not upset at all by this change. She is sure they almost has a moment at her high school graduation party. Now she will get a chance to have Max all to herself and find out if what she thinks is true. Max has been wanting Charlene since he almost got a chance to kiss her at the party. He even took 2 weeks off to watch their place because at least he would be close to Charlene's things even if he couldn't be close to her. Now though his luck has changed and he will be with his woman and on this trip he is determined to make her his in all ways. Will these two get the HEA they both want or will an overprotective dad make sure that never happens?

In this book we meet Gwen, Axel, J.P., Travis, Tristan, Taylor, Manny, Elijiah, Nolan, and Santiago. When this book opens we find the men sitting around talking about what they would want to have to hold on deployment. When that begins they talk about a girls picture they would like the girl waiting for them to come home. This then leads to all of them thinking of the same girl Gwen. One by one as they discuss Gwen they all realize they aren't jealous of the other but they all still want her non the less. So they come up with an agreement that they will only see her together and hope they can form a bond strong enough to last their deployment. Gwen has been burned in the past by an ex and is not looking to repeat past mistakes that is why she doesn't date. So when the guys suggest going on a group outing and not calling it a date she agrees as long as she can bring some friends. The guys agree but make it very clear they only want her. This confuses her and she thinks they are just playing a game so she thinks there is no harm in playing a game with them. What happens though when feelings get involved on all sides. Will they find a HEA or will it be the beginning of the end?

But when he gets there he finds that his old childhood best friend is there and looking better than ever. When people start saying mean and spiteful things about them over the internet will the girl who now is a shy version of her self and the boy who plays football have a chance at a HEA or will it all just something else to remember in their past?

In this book we meet Oakley Clarke and Oliver Adams. Oakley has been Henry's nanny since the day he was born. Henry's parents weren't truly ready to settle down and be parents so they hired Oakley to watch over their son while they continued to travel. One day though while out on their boat both of Henry's parents died in a boating accident. To keep Henry out of the foster care system she travels to his only living relative, his father's half brother Oliver. Oliver has had no contact with his father's family since the day he was told he was not his father's son but the son of the maid and nothing more.  The one thing he can't help but notice is how beautiful Oakley is. This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will hook you in from the first place and not let go till the very end. I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

In this book we meet Sophie and Thorn. Sophie believed she was leaving the farm for a job in the city. When she got there though turns out the people were completely upfront about everything and the job at a motel well the manager said she didn't think she would actually take her up on that offer. So now she is in the roadside dinner trying to think of a way to call her dad to have him come get her. That is until the man who just came in captivates her. Thorn has been looking for his one for as long as he can remember. He didn't actually think he would ever find her. That is until he stops for something to eat at a roadside dinner he has stopped at in the past. One look at Sophie and he knows he has found his one. He just need to take it slow enough not to scare her off. Will these two find a HEA or will they just have a moment in a dinner to remember the other by?

In this book we meet Bailey and David. Bailey has know for awhile now exactly who she wants. Though when she sees David again she can't believe how strong the feelings are that rush through her. She knows she can't do anything at her parents 25th anniversary party but a part of her just wants it to be her and him. David can't believe the feelings he is having for his best friends daughter. One look from her though calms him in a way nothing else ever has. One touch has him wanting to chuck everything and just be with her. With who they are though will this be a HEA or a wonder what could have been?

In this book we meet Harper Ross and Ezekiel "Zeke" Roberts. Zeke had a plan it was a good one for the town and for him personally if only he could get Clara to sell him the jail right next to the mechanic's shop he owns. Now that Clara is dead he was thinking after the property went through probate he might have a new chance. That's when things got real sticky since Harper shows up and says the property is hers and she's not selling. Harper has a promise to keep and she isn't letting the rude man from next door make her give up that promise. She had plans to come turn the old jail into a B&B until she sees how much work it will take. She knows she doesn't have the funds to take on a project of this size. So she agrees to be partners with Zeke he will get to open the business he wants in the jail and she doesn't have to break her promise to Clara. What happens though when both of them want this to be more then a business arrangement? Will this be the beginning of a HEA or will the secrets that they keep make sure that never happens?

This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. In this book we get Tegan's story and are introduced to Kieran. In this book we learn about Tegan's true dreams. She is working on growing her own ingredients to make her own drinks and open her own bar. She knows she isn't there yet but has been working hard to make this dream a realty. She took classes and went to different locations to learn all she could. Now she has a plot of land and is really trying to make a go of at least trying to grow her own stuff to try. That is until one night Emory stops by her place with Kieran. See Tegan has continued to get dates from Date Monsters but never ventured into part of the site where the guys are looking for long term relationships and she's not sure she is ready now but he's here. Kieran has a messed up past with his clan. See he is a dragon and the one brother who can continue their line to hopefully bring them up the ranks of the dragons. That isn't what Kieran wants though so he leaves and eventually finds himself on Date Monster. He has gone out with a lot of women but none have stuck and so he is still looking for that one person to connect with. He isn't sure it is with Tegan either but with both of the willing to give it a shot he is willing to find out. Will these two find a HEA or will the past that won't stay in the past come back to ruin everything?

This is another great book in this series. Each can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend you read them in order so not to ruin any of the surprises. It does have have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. Oh is there so much I want to tell you. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

In this book we meet Lilah Thompson and Dominic "Dom" Dallison. For more than 40 years Dom has waited for his one. He knows the moment he sees her he will know but he is beginning to wonder if that will ever happen. So when he goes out on a fire call he knows before he gets there that his woman is there. Dom being the professional though shuts down those thoughts and gets to saving whomever is in that building. Lilah can't believe one moment they are rehearsing for a small play the next she is being rescued by a fireman. Not just any fireman mind you but her dad's best friend. The thing is she doesn't see him as that she sees him as the man she wants. Can these two have the HEA they are both hoping for though or will their relationship with Mike always be in the way?

In this book we meet Tanner Mason and Jackson "Jacks" Lorde. Tanner agrees to go to the concert of the twisted feathers with her friend Zoe. They are holding a one night only concert for the people of their hometown and the girls are happy to see the guys they grew up with. See Zoe and Tanner went to school and were friends with all the guys before they made it big 5 years earlier. Their is one difference though for Tanner is was always Jacks in fact she lost the big v to him. She got scared though and ran away. She wonder now what could have been. Jacks can't believe the one woman he has always loved is at his concert. He was sure she had left their small town never to return. Their lives took very different paths after that night and he thought he lost more than the woman he loves he lost his friend. He wonders now seeing her again is there a chance for them to start again or will what he has been up to for the last 5 years make that impossible? Will they find a HEA in their second chance or is there something or someone that will make that impossible?

This is another hit out of the park by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this is one of those stories you lock the door, send the kids away and order dinner in because you won't want to put it down till you read those two words "the end". I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

In this box set we get 9 books. Each of these couples may have found someone they want to be with and have issues being together. Like these say something worth having is something worth fighting for and each of the couples that show us this is true. Here is an example in one of the books: In this book we meet Ella Evans and Oliver Paine. Ella and her family lived in the U.K until she turned 18 at that point they all moved to America. Oliver went to their going away party and realized the girl meant for him was leaving him for good. His best friend her brother was going as well but he was loosing her. Now 4 years later he sees her at his title match and knows he will do anything to prove to her that she is his one and only. Ella has had a crush on Oliver for years now at first he never noticed her and then they were leaving. She has followed his career and has saved her money to be at this fight in the U.K. When she sees what happens though she is thinking maybe coming wasn't such a good idea. Can they both find a HEA or will the fact that they live in separate countries keep them apart?

Each story have their ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin  any of the story for any other readers. I will say that each of these stories will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend this set to anyone and everyone.

In this book we meet Sara and Mark. Sara and her father have been planning to attend the wedding of a close family friend. In fact she was the one who babysat Sara when she was younger. So they have no problem planning to attend her wedding in Paris. The problem is Sara's dad is a workaholic and when he gets called to go to one of the other offices she thinks the trip is off. Little does she know she is getting someone better. Mark knows he is agreeing to accompany Sara for selfish reasons but he can't seem to care. He knows every since he saw at her graduation some part of him recognizes her as his. He wonders though that by agreeing to take this trip he will eventually put a wedge between him and his best friend. Will these two get the HEA they are hoping for or will their time together show them what they will miss when it all blows up on them?

Review of Accidental Meeting Box Set by Ajme Williams

I received this box set with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. 

In this box set we get 5 stories. Each of these couples has to overcome something to be together for the long haul. All but the last story has been released in its own book. Together you can go from one to the next. In the book Accidental Meeting we meet Holly and Tucker. In this book we get Holly St. James and Tucker Marshall story. As you remember we have met both of these characters in earlier books. Holly is a school teacher who is trying to raise funds to upgrade the school library. During this time she is also left at the alter and becomes the mentor to the new teacher Tucker. Over the summer they had texted back and forth until Holly realizes how much older she is than Tucker. She feels like she has already had the town looking at her once she does not want to be the next town gossip story. Tucker feels like he needs a change and is ready to get out of Illinois and when his best friend Brooke convinces his to join her in Salvation he thinks this will be just what he is looking for. Brooke as you remember we met in Accidental Affair. This is not a best friends love story. This is Tucker wanting Holly but Holly still hung up on what others think. Will they get their HEA or will what others think break them for good?

Will these couples figure it out or will living in a small town be really awkward? I would recommend this set to anyone and everyone. You will find yourself rooting for these characters one moment and wanting to slap them them next. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Furry Face by Frankie Love

In this book we meet Penelope "Penny" Aurora and Paxton Hughes. Penny just wants a life of her own. Ever since her mother died it seems to her that her father has tightened the reigns on where she can go and who she can see. She has plans for her life in fact she has already sold her book of poetry and is ready to start her own life and that includes a man of her own choosing. Paxton has chosen what he wants to do with his life and right now that is sail the globe. The thing is time on the water gets lonely so when he pulls in to port in Seattle he decides if he finds company for the night it might be all the better. The thing is these two never would have met under any other circumstances. There is a feeling of connection from the first moment though. Will they find a HEA and sail into the sunset or will is all be a just like the wind here on moment gone the next?

This is another amazing short story from this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However. I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers.
