I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we meet Melissa and ARK. When this book opens we find Melissa is the assistant to Ambassador Fuller who has come to meet with the Kreossians 50 years after his first meeting with them. Melissa doesn't know what to expect when she meet them but what happens next was nothing like she expected. From the first moment she meets ARK she knows he's hot and he could be something special to her. Can she trust him though or will he be the one to hurt her in the end?
Ark has always looked for his mate but his first priority is to the empire. He is a warrior and isn't sure why he was ordered to be on this diplomatic mission but he goes where he is ordered. When things go south though a warrior is just what is needed. When he sees Melissa though he knows he has found his mate. Even though he didn't plan to find it in a human woman he knows he will give up his life for her. What happens though when she sees what he really is will she stay with him or will she run in the end?
This is a great story about finding love even in the most dangerous of situations. This book has many twists and turns before the truth is revealed. There is so much I want to say about this book but don't want to give away and secrets for any readers so I will say it is a must read. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
