I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we get Kerven's story and we are introduced to Dr. Paula Allen. Dr. Allen is on an alien world trying to retrieve seeds that will help heal thousands of people in the galaxy. The problem is the people of this world refuse to give them up. So it has started a war on this planet. Now they have to wait and see if the Brion will get involved and help them. What happens when she finds out that she is Kerven's geshia will she stay true to the mission or will she leave with him?
Kerven thought he was out to prove himself as a new captain when he is ordered to fight on this planet. Little did he know that he would find his one. Now all he has to do is prove to her that he can not only help her with her dreams but make sure that she fights for a dream of both of them. Can he keep both his woman and who he is as a Brion or will have have to choose?
This is a great story about finding your one and fighting to keep it. This book has it's ups and downs that will have you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to the end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
