Review of Single Dad's Bride by Melinda Minx

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Rita Riela and Deacon Sheppard. Rita is down on her luck and is looking for anyway out of her current situation. When she not only looses her job but finds out she is being evicted on the same day she turns to the only person she thinks might be able to help her, her friend Anna Sheppard. The problem is Anna lives with her brother Deacon who has been nothing but a jerk to her for as long as she has known him. So when he comes looking for help her first thought is to reject him outright, but would that really be the christian thing to do? Can these two help one another or will they end up killing each other first?

Deacon has never looked for another permanent woman since he lost his wife Stacy three year ago. He has no faith in God and isn't looking to change that. He is however looking to keep his daughter Elsie from her grand parents Michael and Sheryl. All they want to do is put his daughter into pageants and live their lives through what they can make her do. All Stacy and Deacon had wanted to do was protect their daughter from that and now it is up to Deacon to do that. So what does he do he follows his lawyers advice and finds the most wholesome woman he can find. The problem is he knows she wants nothing to do with him. Can he get her to agree and save his daughter or will he loose everything he is fighting for?

This is a great story about falling in love again when you never thought you would. There are many twist and turns in this story that I really want to tell you about but don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will says this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
