Reveiw of The Lies Between Us by M.N. Forgy

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Lip (Philip) and Cherry (Lindsay). This book opens up with Lindsay going to a party and having sex for the first time. She doesn't remember most of it but knows who she had sex with. As a result of that time she gets pregnant and the father is not happy. So then we see that she goes to court and has to fight for custody of her own daughter, her juvenile court record is used against her, and her lawyer does nothing as a result she looses. After the proceedings she goes back in to find out from the judge why her sealed juvenile record was used against her and finds the father of the baby paying off the judge and her lawyer. She vows then and there to make them all pay for this. Next thing she knows she is being shot at, to make everyone think she is dead she goes completely off the grid. No phone, no home, no contact with anyone from her old life including her daughter, though this constantly breaks her heart. One day while pick pocketing another unsuspecting bystander she meets Lip little did she know how much her life would change.

Lip is a man with secrets he is keeping them from everyone he knows. The club he is prospecting, the woman he meets, his family. Lip knows what he is or at least he thinks he knows what he is until he encounters Lindsay. Something about her keeps drawing him in. Maybe it is the innocent way she looks at him and he thinks the world that is why he nicknames her Cherry.

This book is amazing it has so many twists and turns and just when you think you have figured out one this author hits you with another. It is amazing on so many levels. This book can be read as a stand alone but you should read the other books in this series to truly understand some of the references in this book. I would highly recommend this book, it is an absolute must read.
