Review of Bear Arms by Lynn Red

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Blake and Alexis. Alexis is a bunny shifter that is a blogger, writes books, and makes her own DVD's. With all of this in her life Alexis knows she is lonely but finding someone that can put up with her she thinks that will be quite a stretch. Which is why she went to see Eve but it has been a year so she isn't really holding out hope. Then she gets the call that all shifters who go to Eve hope to get she found her a match and is giving him her number. To bad the first call they have she sounds completely ridiculous when she picks up the phone. Good think Blake thinks it's cute or this could be all over. Alexis still wonders if it still will be when he finds out who she really is.

Blake has just returned from his time overseas in the military. He and his Sargent Morales (also a bear shifter) make jokes about how a bear is never meant to be in the desert both of them are excited to be moving back home. The one thing Blake knows is he is lonely, he wants to find his mate but isn't sure even where to start. Well someone knows while out at a piano bar Morales meets Eve and the two of them get to talking about Blake and as they talk Eve thinks she has the perfect woman for him. Blake isn't sure but he is willing to try anything. One phone call is all it takes for him to know this is the woman for him. His question is is this to good to be true or will she be this perfect woman for him?

This book is another hit out of the park for this series. It will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. You will laugh you will hold your breath waiting to see what will happen next all in all you will not want to put it down. I thought this couple is absolutely amazing and it falls right in line with how many of these couples have met. You also get to hear briefly how a few of them are still doing. I would absolutely recommend this book. It needs to be on everyone's must read list.
