Review of Watching and Wanting by Jay Northcote

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we get Shawn's story and we meet Jude. When this book opens up we find that Shawn is in bed with his girlfriend but realizes he wants more. This more also doesn't mean he wants it with her. However years of being teased and pushing down his own wants have him lashing out more often then not. He knows this is a result of his own insecurities but he doesn't know how to change things until one day he walks in on Jude and his world changes. Can he open himself up to something new or will he stay hidden to keep up his simple facade?

Jude is not ashamed to be a gay man that is willing to put his sexuality and his body out there for all to see. However when Shawn walks in on him fantasies that he had never had before all the sudden come to the forefront. Jude wonders if Shawn is just a man who is afraid to come out of the closet or just a giant jerk. Will he be able to get through to Shawn or will this just be another man who he will be with and walk away from when it is all over?

This is a great book about finding love even when you aren't quite willing to admit it to even yourself yet. I think the thoughts and feelings that both characters have goes beyond gender and shows us all of us deep down have doubts. I want to tell you so much more about this book but don't want to ruin it for anyone. I will say I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Helping Hand by Jay Northcote

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Jez and Mac. Both of them have desires that they never knew that they could have fulfilled with each other. Both of them begin to want more but don't know how to tell the other. So this leads to problems between them.

There are so many things I want to tell you about this book but I worry I will give away some of the secrets for this book. I will have to say that I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Like a Love by Jay Northcote

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we get Josh's story and we are introduced to Rupert. Josh is determined to get through school and have not debt when he gets out. So while out waiting for his typical Friday night date he begins to worry when he is a no show. Though part of Josh is tired and just wants to get some sleep the other part is thinking about the money he is loosing out on. When he spots a cute guy at the end of the bar that looks like he has been stood up as well. Josh doesn't think this can be anything more than a work thing but you know what happens when those pesky feelings get involved. Will Josh take a chance on love or will he throw it all away to go with his practical plan?

Rupert is just looking for someone to be with he isn't sure about the new guy he emailed. He knows however he is looking for what everyone wants a partner to be with. So when he spots Josh at the other end of the bar he thinks he has found a hot guy that is interested in him. When Josh propositions him he thinks he just wants to be with someone, so he will do as he asks. What happens though when he wants more will he loose Josh forever or will he finally have that shot at HEA?

This is a great story about finding love and fighting for the right to hold on to it. There are many ups and downs in this story that will have you emotionally tied to both of these men. There are so many things I want to tell you about this book but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Practice makes Perfect by Jay Northcote

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Dev and Ewan. Dev is a young man with a tattered past. He has recently moved into the house after his boss and friend Rupert who you meet in Like a Lover. Tells him about an open room. He is anxious to get out of his previous living arrangement and agrees to take it. The things is Dev knows he is gay he just can't find the person that makes him want to learn exactly what this means. He is determined though now that he is living in a safe place to find out exactly how to get the perfect man. Little does Dev know if he is willing to open himself up to it he might have already met that man. Will he being willing to make himself vulnerable or will he loose out on the chance for his possibly chance at real love?

Ewan knows he is gay but has just been doing the hooking up thing. He isn't looking for anything serious but when he meets Dev on his first day there is just something that draws him in. When he learns that Dev is looking for a little experience in all the wrong places he decides it is time for him to step up. What happens though when he starts feeling more will he loose out on a chance at something real because of miss communication or will he find a shot at real love?

This is a great love story and you will feel your emotions reaching out to both of these men in different ways through-out the story. There are many ups and downs in this story that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would like to tell you so much more about this story but I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this story goes beyond gender to just finding someone you love and fighting for it. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we get Blake Colter's story and we are introduced to Harper Lawson. When this book opens up Blake is out looking for Harper after she has run away from home. Both her parents and Blake's mother is worried about her and want her home for Christmas. Blake never expected to feel anything but the disgust that he has felt for Harper for years. However something sparks between them that neither of them expect. This leads to a miss understanding that keeps them apart for 12 years. When they finally see one another again Blake wonders is she still the one woman who can turn him inside out or is finally over the one woman who captured his heart all those years ago?

Harper gave her heart and her V-card to one man but thought he was another. Without realizing it she sees Marcus thinking he is the man who came to find her in Denver. When they get back the next day she sees the real Marcus with his girlfriend and thinks that she has been played. So she disappears for the next 12 years. When she shows back up she doesn't know that she has made a mistake and the person she was with all those years ago was really Blake. This is a great story about falling in love and fighting for that love no matter how long the fight takes. There are many twists and turns in this book that I really want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this is a amazing read and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Devil's Vengeance by Nina Levine

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Devil and Hailee. When these two first meet they are taken into custody at a protest rally. Where they are both taken and put into the back of a police car. They get time to talk and get to know one another and find that there is a spark. So when Hailee goes to her second job and is getting ready to sing this is where Devil finds her and finds she has a voice like an angel. Devil knows he wants more with her. More time, more of her, just more and is willing to do anything to get it. He will fight anything and anyone to keep her safe and spend more time with her. 

There are many ups and downs in this book that will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. There is so much more that I want to say about this book but I am worried that I will give away it's secrets. I will say that this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. This will be one of those books you will want to lock the door, send the kids out of the house and find your most comfy seat to read it beginning to end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Lone Tiger and Cub by Lizzie Lynn Lee

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Kieran, Fionn, and Millie. Millie has come home and is cooking dinner when she hears a noise outside. When she looks out she finds that Fionn a small shifter boy has taken her steak right off her grill. She knows that shifter children are protected when they are small but there is something about this child that makes her want to do anything to protect him. So when she meets his uncle Kieran all thoughts of the child turn into something much more. She doesn't know what it is about this man and this boy but they wrap themselves around her heart faster than anyone else in her life. What happens though when the going gets tough will she loose them both or will she get her HEA?

Kieran has had one hit after another. First he looses his clan because his step-mother doesn't want him to become alpha. His sister dies and leaves him sole guardianship of her son. So when he has to go to work one night when he thinks Fionn is sleeping he looses track of the boy. Though he can track him the last place he thought he would find him is in the cute neighbor's house. He has wanted to get better acquainted with her but wasn't sure if he should bring her into his bad luck life. The more time he and Fionn spend with her the more they want to spend with her. Can his luck finally be changing and will he get the woman he believes is his mate or this just be one more thing he has lost?

This is a great short story about finding love and fighting to have it in your life. There are many twists and turns in this book that I want to tell you all about but I don't want ruin the book for anyone else. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Review of Big Bad Daddy by Tia Siren

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Amy Lynne and Jackson. Amy Lynne has been dealt quite a bad hand and is trying to make the most out of the next she is dealt. So when the woman Gail sets her up with a job off as a nanny to a writer. She is not sure what type of nanny she will be but she is willing to give this a chance for Gail. However when she meets Jackson something awakens in her that she never knew was possible. But will the past come back to hurt her or will she finally find her HEA?

Jackson never knew he could feel pain the way he did when he found out that his wife and his best friend/lawyer were having an affair. The only good thing that he got from his wife during that time was he little girl. But now that he is focused on his child his writing is taking a hit. He is trying to balance it all but he feels like his muse is just gone. So when he talks to Gail about how he needs to be writing he agrees to give this woman a chance. Little did he know that this woman would do more than just help him with his child. He wonders though will he be able to have it all or will he loose a woman that makes him feels things he never has?

This book has many twists and turns that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. There are so many things I want to tell you about this story but don't want to ruin the book for anyone. I will say that it will have you on the edge of your seat till the very end. This book is amazing and I would highly recommend it.
