Review of Delivering His Gifts by K.C. Crowne

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Danielle Baker and we get Mason Harvey's story. When this book opens we find that Mason is not only the doc who helped out at the clinic during the flood. He is one of the guys who is determined to make a difference in people's lives. See he is visiting with Calvin a war vet who doesn't get out much. So he makes sure he has food to eat and someone to talk to at least for a little while. On this particular visit it is that time of year where the kids are lighting off fireworks. He knows this will get to the vet since it gets to him as well. So when he can't get Calvin to come to the door he knows he needs more. That is when he learns about Danielle's work with therapy dogs and thinks this will be the perfect match. Danielle's business has been severally impacted by the flood. With the buildings no long structurally sound she can't bring new clients to them. When her ex gets on her case about it all she knows she has to do something or lose something even more precious then her business her daughter. When Mason shows up she is definitely leery of him. She wonders if he is just out to hurt her like her ex has in the past but there is something about him that really hopes that isn't true. Can these two find a HEA they didn't know was there for them or will pain from the past make a future impossible?

This is another hit out of the park by this author. Yes it has its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. You won't want to put it down till you read those two words "the end" and really not even then. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
