I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Jane Adams and Brian Chase. Jane is taking another call from her mother telling her that the big city is to dangerous and how she should come home and marry her ex. The problem with this is many things one her parents don't support her writing career and two her ex was abusive to her and she won't go back to that. This however triggers what she believes is acid reflux. When she wakes the next morning in more pain and shortness of breath then she went to bed in she knows it is time to call for help. She is taken to the hospital and finds that she has an infection around her heart that is causing all the problems she has had. The doctor who treats her she wishes she had met somewhere else because she would really like to get to know him better. Brian can't believe he is getting to meet Jane. He is a big fan of her book and is hoping that she is as great in person. When he meets her though she is even better than he thought and he also wishes they had met under different circumstances. He knows as a doctor he is not allowed to date his patients so he has to wait and hopes she will to. He also is dealing with family issues. His mother wants him only working with the wealthy and his ex well she is psycho enough to try and get back with him by any means after cheating on him. Will these two find a HEA or will outside pressure be to much and drive them apart permanently?
This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
