Review of Her Shelter by Terri Anne Browning

In this book we meet Delaney and we get more of Max's story. It was a dark and foggy night when these two met. Sounds crazy but this is how it all started for these two. See just before her 18th birthday the maid came to her gave her clothes and money and told her to run and not stop or her uncle would find her, so run she did. When the money ran out she would eat in soup kitchens and sleep wherever she could. One day she hitched a ride with a trucker and when he came to Creswell Springs she ran from him. There was something about him that gave her a bad vibe and since losing her hearing she relied on that more and more. That night though she was so hungry and though maybe she could find food in the dumpster at Aggie's since she had already found food in a bad outside the ink shop and knew it was good. While trying to cross the street in the fog she is almost run over by Max on his bike. Max didn't see the girl until he is right on her. He swerved to miss her and dumped his bike. When he comes to chew her out for being in the street and not moving when she heard his bike he realizes she can't hear. One look is all it takes for Max to know he has found the woman he will be with for the rest of his life. If only he can keep some of the rougher things from her. Will these two find a HEA or will the things not said be the thing to drive them apart forever?

If you have never read a Terri Anne Browning book shame on you. Her books are amazing and will have you reading them again and again. This one is no different. Make sure you grab you copy today. Once you start you won't be able to put it down and you will go looking for all the rest. I would highly highly recommend this book.
