I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we Get Eliza and Pavel. When this book opens we find that after being in a fight with a magical artifact he has scars on his face. At this time he is in the hospital not healing like his shifter ability allows his to do very quickly. His wife at the time wants answers but he is unable and unwilling to give her. He wanted to work his job and keep others safe and he knows the only way to do this is to let go of his marriage. After this happens he is sent on another mission in Texas. He doesn't want to go but knows he needs to protect anyone if the artifact they are going to locate. A part of the team going is a leprechaun descendent named Eliza. When they get to the location the person they are their to meet shoots the team leader and kidnap's the two of them. They didn't want Pavel but they did wasn't Eliza her luck was what would ensure that the artifact would be created. What was created though it was more evil than any of them could imagine. Will these two get out of this alive or will the artifact they hold be the thing to kill them all?
This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
