Review of Protecting the Bride by Shelley Munro

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Grace Feeney and Cullen Turner. When this book opens we find that Grace has just left the grocery story after working her shift at the bakery. When she leaves she hears her name called so loud she can't help but stop. That is when she sees a man she hasn't seen in years. A man that after catching her fiancé cheating realizes he is the kind of man she wanted all along. Cullen has spent years in the military and didn't want to start anything with Grace when he couldn't promise her a future. After this last deployment he knows he will do anything to get that chance with Grace. The thing is he is sure he has missed his chance when she tells him she is getting married that weekend. So the only thing left for him to do is drink away what might have been with a friend at a bar. That's the plan at least until he sees Grace doing the same thing except for an entirely different reason. Can these two the get the HEA they thought was gone or will outside forces make sure that never happens?

Amazing story. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I would highly recommend reading the entire series though so you don't give away any surprises. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
