Review of Burned by Destiny by Emilia Hartley

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Sloane Armstrong & Callum Barnes. Callum is at the end of his rope when it comes to his children. He knows 2 of the 3 of them are happy but he still is worried about the men his girls choose. When he sits in a bar one night just so he doesn't have to be alone he finds the bartender is someone he can talk to unlike anyone before. As he tells Sloane a little of his issues he knows as a human she can't fully understand what he means with some of his statements. The one thing Callum doesn't understand is how calm his dragon seems to be around this woman. His can't for his fated mate is gone right it can't be her. When she asks for a trade of sorts he thinks this will work perfectly spend time with her but do nothing to hurt her. Sloane has had enough of controlling men. After her husband became abusive and she has run from him over and over again. She has had enough and hopes with the help of this stranger she can finally get the divorce she wants and be free. Sometimes life just doesn't work like that though he ex doesn't seem to want to let go and the feelings she was never supposed to develop for Callum ya that's happening now too. Can these two find a HEA or will past mistakes make their future impossible?

Another amazing story in this series. The feelings these two have to work through will have you hooked from the first word and unable to let go till the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
