Reviews for Lies Unspoken by Lisa DeJong

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. I am not one for many 5 star reviews but this book definitely deserves it. This book is so amazing, In the first few chapters we meet Lila a woman who believed she found the love of her life only for him to call off their wedding and say he needed time for himself. Lila is heartbroken and takes it personally thinking that she is just not good enough for love. She does however pick herself back up and realize it is time for a chance and where does that change take her, to Chicago.

Lila's friend from college is studying abroad and needs someone to sublet her apartment for her. Lila thinks this is a perfect opportunity to spread her wings as an interior designer as well as really get her life back on track. While on the plane she meets a man named Pierce who chats her up when she tells him what she wants to do for her career he gives her his business card and tells her to call him about a possible job. Lila wants this opportunity but is worried that she just isn't good enough for this job and should shoot lower before making this leap.

Little did Lila know when she gets to her friends apartment she is not living alone but with a jerk of a guy who Lila later learns is her friends brother. Blake has issues and doesn't know what to do with sweet little Lila.

In this story we find three broken people both men are in love with the same woman but who will she choose and if she chooses wrong will she find herself lower than when she started this journey. This book does have an ending but does leave it open for what will happen next in the story. I personally can't hardly wait for the next book I have my hopes on who she will end up with but I will let you read the story and decide who you pick and for what reason. I am a reader and reviewer who believes that a reader needs to experience a story for themselves. Pick up your copy as soon as they are available you will not be disappointed.
