Review of Claimed by the Alien Warrior King by Zara Zenia & Eden Ember

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Chera and King Thras. When this book opens we find that the king is sitting on his thrown thinking of all the responsibilities that he must take care of. When he learns that an attack is on its way to him. He has little time to prepare before the palace is being bombed. He hears the screams of his sister but doesn't make it in time. What he does find is a human slave that has been attacked and left for dead. He rescues her and finds that his uxormea (the thing that shows him he has found his mate) has burst forth for a human slave he is unsure what to do. As the new king he must mate with one of his own kind as well as someone of royalty and she is neither.  Chera knows she is a slave and by no means has any rights but when the palace is bombed she jumps into action to save the princess she adores so much. All the times she has seen the king around the palace he has seemed like he hates humans so she has had little interaction with him. When she learns it is he who saved her she isn't sure what to think. She knows what her place it and believes that nothing will come of them. Can these two find a HEA or will outside forces make sure it is them who do not survive to find out?

This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
