Review of Backup Bride by Melinda Minx

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Layla Howe and Roman Pierce. When this book opens Layla is at her family home and her dad is manning the barbeque. That is when her brother's best friend shows up. The man who she has secretly had a crush on for more years that she can count. And the man who's life she ruined. When she says at much to him he blows her off but has trouble keeping his eyes off her bikini top. When they all get together later, he ends up telling her his issue about being forced to marry someone he doesn't even like. She has a plan but will he go for it. Roman has never looked at his best friend's sister the way he is with her in that bikini top. He knows it is wrong but when did she get all grown up and hot. When he unloads about his problems he makes her promise not to try and fix it. When he hears her plan though he wonders can he really go through with it or will he end up not just losing 1 but 2 friends if he does?

This is an amazing story by this author. These characters have a way of sucking you in from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
