Review of Daddy's Business Partner by Sofia T. Summers

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Mary Lou "Lou" and Scott. When this book opens we find that Scott is listening to his business partner complain about how his daughter can't seem to commit. Sure she graduated college and is making her way in the world but she has been on again off again with her fiancé for the last 2 years. What Lou's dad wants is a man that will make her realize how good she has it with her fiancé. So after agreeing to help his friend he ends up finding no one to do this. He decides to take it upon himself to show her what a jerk a lot of men can be. That is all well and good except he finds he really likes her and the kiss she gives him oh boy there is no way he will forget that. Lou only agreed to the date with Scott because he was her father's business partner. Personally she though he was and ego driven jerk and wouldn't have given him the time of day any other way. Lou has watched her parents marriage all her life and she wants a love like theirs. When she is with Dexter she just doesn't feel any sparks and when she tries to talk to him she feels like he isn't hearing her. She has things she wants so do in her life and she isn't sure staying with Dexter is the answer. When she kisses Scott though one she can't believe she did it and two she can't believe the fireworks she feels. Can these two find a HEA or will the obstacles they have to get past just be to much?

Another hit out of the park by this author. These characters will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
