Review of Hometown Hero by Regina Wade

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Evelyn "Evie" Reid and Elliot Scotts. When this book opens we find that Elliot is in his hometown after being shot down in his helicopter. After surgery he will need physical therapy before he can be cleared for active duty again. He never wanted to come back to this town after loosing his grandmother and breaking the heart of his best friend and only love. He would rather walk through the desert after a crash then be there. But there was where his home was so until he recovered he was stuck. What he didn't expect was to find his previous best friend/love standing on his doorstep one day telling him she is his nurse until he is better. Evie can't believe not only did she volunteer to do this but that she had thought this was a good idea. She hadn't seen Elliot since the day he ripped her heart out and stomped on it for good measure. She is here though and still can't stand to see him in pain. Can these two find their way back to a HEA or will they just be a great memory to have.

This is another hit out the park by this author. These two characters will have you drawn in from the first moment to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
