Review of The One I Want by S.L. Scott

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Juniper "Juni" Jacobs and Andrew "Drew" Christiansen. When these two first meet Drew is on a mission to complete a list of tasks his mother gave him before he left California. Part of him can't believe that he is going through with it but another part sees the value in it. So the first task was to lay in the grass at 9:17 am and just absorb his surroundings. As a CEO he has bigger things to do than just lay in the grass. As he is beginning to enjoy himself he is jumped on by a wafe of a dog. This wouldn't be too bad but the little pooch also has poo on his paws and now is is all over Drew. This brings about who he thinks is the owner of said dog Juni. Juni can't believe how her morning is going and to top it off Rascal (the dog) just jumped on a random stranger. So when they both leave the park it all gets worse when they are headed the same direction and Drew accuses her of being a stalker. She has had worse days but it has sure been awhile. When she gets to her new temp job she realizes park man is her new boss. Can a temp secretary and the CEO really find themselves a HEA or are things from the past still holding making a future impossible?

Another hit out of the park by this author. These characters grab you from the first page and you don't even want to let go of them when you read those 2 words "the end". I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
