Review of Pretend Wife to Daddy's Best Friend by Sofia T. Summers

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Sabrina Michaelson and Damon Wright. When this book opens we find that on 4 years earlier Sabrina and Damon kissed on her birthday. Not one of those you give your father kisses but one that now 4 years later neither can forget. Sabrina has made a name for herself in these years. She is now the go to person when looking to investigate the inner workings of a business. So when the company thinks their is a problem she uses everything including her hacking skills to find out if it is true or not. This year after returning from her last mission in Bali she is ready for a break from traveling and she just happens to have a case come to her that will give her that option. The only problem is it involves drugs and money going through Damon's company. She doesn't believe it is him but can she prove it? Damon was attracted to Sabrina's mom but respected her choice when she chose another, his best friend. Now years later Sabrina is all grown up and looks so much like her mom. That is just one of the reasons Damon is attracted to her. He knows though with all he is going through with his ex he just can't go after someone as taboo as Sabrina. When he needs a new assistant though will she meet more than just his office needs? Can these two find a HEA or are the secrets they are keeping going to destroy them all?

Amazing story by this author. These characters will grab you from the first word and not let go till the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
