I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Annalise Walker & DJ Hyatt. When they were still in high school Annalise & DJ were high school sweethearts. She could never quite understand why he was with her DJ was the typical jock where Annalise was more of the school nerd. Since Annalise was put in foster care when she was little but later adopted by an nice couple she always thought she had to do more to succeed for them. DJ always has plans to follow Annalise to college. Sure he has brains to match all his jock ability but he only wanted her. One misunderstanding would chance the course of both of their lives. Annalise still went to college but DJ he ended up in the military and now has back problems and PTSD. Can one meeting give them a second chance at HEA or is it to late for that in the end?
Wowza what a story. These characters will show you some raw parts of life in an amazing story. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
