I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we meet Shayla and Kade. Shayla is in the process of adopting her niece (Aislinn) but there seems to be a problem she came out a health size but has been loosing weight ever since. Shayla's sister made a comment about the Aislinn's father and Shayla doesn't know what this will mean for her adoption but she knows she had to visit him. She will do everything she can for the child of her heart. The problem she runs into is once the father sees his daughter will he still let her be a part of Aislinn's life?
Kade never thought he would be a father. After his disaster of his almost mating to Shayla's sister he is determined not to go down that road again. However one whiff of Aislinn and he knows this is his child. The problem then becomes what to do about Shayla? When another problem comes to town can he protect them all or will he loose the daughter he has just been introduced to?
This is a short story about find love when you never thought you had it in you? Kade finds a daughter he never knew he had and finds that his love can open up again even after the pain he has gone through. This book is great it is an absolute must read. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
