I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we get the story of Angus Grand and his mate Poppy Robins. Angus is tired of being alone he wants what Levi and Juliet and Shane and Lily have. However he needs to find his mate first so he decides to give Corey's app a try and though he gets a few hits he doesn't get his 100% match right off the bat. Angus is willing to wait for his fated mate he has waited this long so what is a little more time for the perfect woman. So when she joins the site he wants nothing more than to bring her to fate mountain and never let her go. however after watching what happened to Drew he wants to make sure this is right so he is willing to take things one step at a time. But what happens in others come to take his mate away before he gets the chance to really be with her? Will he make it in time to get her back?
Poppy is just a simple girl who happens to do the books for an import/export company. The thing is she is also lonely and isn't the ideal of every man so when she hears about the website for curvy human woman looking to date shifter men. Plus all the men she sees on the site are hot so she thinks why not. The problem is that same night she signs on she hears something her bosses are saying that she shouldn't have and it leads her to believe that feeling she's been having might really be something. So when Angus asks her to visit him on fate mountain she is sure now is the perfect time. The thing is she just has to get Angus to believe that she is there to stay and she won't run away like Drew's mate did. The problem is the worries she thought she left behind might have just caught up with her. Can she get him to see that she is the woman meant for him before it is to late?
This is a great story about take a risk on love when you have seen both the good and the bad. The story will also have you falling in love with this series all over again. Sometimes falling in love is the scariest thing you can do but it can also give you the greatest reward. This book can be read as a stand alone or as part of this series. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
