I received this book with the understanding that I could leave voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Julia Letts and Jake Thorne. When this book opens we find that that Jake has a plan to get the farm back to the way his brother and father had run it. He believes that if he has his own winning stud horse he can get a better return for his colts. So he offers to buy the local vet Julia's horse. When he is shot down though he thinks that he can win her over. Little does he know winning her over will take more than just charm and good looks. Julia is determined to keep not only the ranch that her father had but also her vet practice going. She believes with the stud fees she will get from her horse that she can get what she needs to be competitive. When Jake comes to her offering to buy the horse she tells him no but realizes he won't give up that easily. When he doesn't seem to give up Julia must decide what she is willing to give up to have not only her horse but a man she is falling for. Can these two find a HEA or will their pride and past hurts get in the way.
Amazing ending to this series. It can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the entire series so not to give away any secrets. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
