I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Hailey Lane and Ryan Fox. Well we are back for the next woman to move into the Sunset Terrace Apartments. When Hailey moves in to Savanah's old apartment (you meet her in Daddy's Rules) she is just glad to be away from Indiana. As we soon learn Hailey is only 23 but definitely on the run from an Uncle who did nothing but hurt her and wanted to continue to do so. When she gets to L.A. her first thought is how quickly can I get my singing career going. That though is quickly followed by how quickly can I get with Mr. Tall, Dark & Handsome. When she learns he is the apartment manager she is even happier. If only she could get him to act on some of those looks he is throwing her way. Ryan has sacrificed a lot to be where he is today. He lost not only his marriage but his daughter too. Now he is in L.A. owning and managing a apartment complex and when he lays eyes on Hailey he realizes he has no life. The thing is no matter how much he wants to be with the little songbird he is afraid it will destroy the fragile relationship he has with his daughter. Can these two find a HEA or will the ghost of the past become the destroyers of the future?
Another amazing hit by this author. These characters will really suck you in and not let go. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
