Review of The Boy Next Door by Ella James

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Amelia (Ammy Dove) and Dash. When Ammy was little her mom was in a car wreck that killed her. She would learn a lot about that wreck later in her life but at that time she was just a broken hearted little girl. So shortly after the funeral her father packs them up and moves them away from everything she has ever know. Ammy doesn’t want this so she runs from her father as soon as they get to the new house on that day she meets a boy who will change her life forever. Ammy has to decide though will her past dictate her future or will she fight for what she wants?

Dash has gone though a lot over the years but the one thing he never regrets is Ammy. From the moment he met her he knew she would be someone special in his life. Now years later they are both working in the same animation studio on the same project. Dash knows that over the years he has hurt Ammy and he wonders if it would be better to just let her go completely. Will he fight for her this time or will he run away and completely break her?

This book has many twists and turns I really want to tell you all about but don’t want to ruin it for anyone. You will see this story from many different years that will give you a true understanding of how each of the characters know and interacted with each other that leads to the present time. This book is amazing it will have you thinking about things in your own life and how you might have done things differently. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone. 

Review of Step Boss by Ash Harlow

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review. 

In this book we meet Marcus Truebridge and Carley Renshaw. Carley is stuck working at Truebridge towers due to the fact that she took Marcus’s car out and ended up in a wreck. So to help set her straight her step father is having her work as a floating PA in the company. One day she finds out that her step-brother Marcus is back from Singapore. Little did she know that he was the next person she would be the PA for. Can she learn to work and trust the man that she has never met before or will the fact that she has problems with his father already cause them problems?

Marcus can’t believe his eyes his new PA is his one night stand that he can’t seem to get out of his mind. It doesn’t matter to him that she lied about her name she captured him and so far hasn’t let go. He has a plan though and has no desire to screw it up with his step-sister no less. So he gets her to agree that that was then and both of them need to work for their goals to get out from under his father’s thumb. To bad doing the right thing seems to get harder and harder as the days go by. Can he follow though with his plan of being the next CEO of Truebridge Towers or will he loose it all because he can’t stay away from the one woman he can’t seem to forget?

This is a great book that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I really is about finding out what is most important in your life and fighting for that. There are some twists and turns in this book that I really want to tell you about but don’t want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this is an amazing book and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

In this book we meet Lisa Howard and Bobby Carter. Bobby has been in love since he was 10 years old. He knows that this love has turned into an obsession but he is determined to make her aware of his feelings no matter what. So after years of watching Lisa be put down by her husband Bobby decides to do something about it. The things is will what he has done make her never want to see him again or will he finally get the girl of his dreams?

Lisa has been in a loveless marriage for years now. So when she gets proof of him cheating on her it is both a relief and a devastation. Lisa isn’t sure how to feel about what Donald not only did to her but their marriage that will affect their 13 year old daughter.  Then there is the fact that she meets a mystery man that shows her there is more to life than what she has been living. Will she be willing to open up to Bobby the man she still thinks of as the boy she was always there for? Or will she finally see him for the man he is and what he can open her world to?

This book is amazing it not only shows us to fight for love but that sometimes you have to let go to have it all. There are some twists to this book that you will not see coming. I want to tell you all about them but don’t want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this is an amazing book for this first time author. I will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

In this book we get Grant Shaw's story and we are introduced to Rebekah (Bekah) Corbin. When Grant and Bekah first meet neither knows who the other really is. Grant for once uses his real first name to a woman and isn't sure why he does that. He however finds himself having real feelings for a woman that he never thought he would. The problem is not only is Bekah the one woman he can't seem to follow his rules of one and done. She is his new business partners daughter and his new intern. What's a guy to do when the woman he is still obsessed with? Grant will find out because he knows there is a very good chance he could loose it all for this one woman. He needs to decided is she worth it all?

Bekah is sick of being used like a pawn. She knows her father isn't telling her things and she wonders if this new job at Neolithic is just another way for him to use her. Though he assures her he isn't sending her in as a spy she isn't sure. The new problem she is having though is the one man she thought she could sleep with, give her v-card to would be just someone to remember as her past. Though he really hasn't been a part of her past yet because she can't seem to forget him. So when she finds out he is her new boss she isn't sure how to react. Can she fully let go and be with this man or will the fact that she has trouble trusting destroy them before they can get started?

This is a great conclusion to the Shaw brother's books. They each can be read as stand alone's but secrets are revealed if read out of order. This book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. There are so many twists and turns that I want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book is amazing and will have you on the edge of your seat the whole book through. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

In this book we meet Prince Logan and Princess Isla. Isla and all of her sisters have come of age so their father King Lucian has decided to hold a ball for all the eligible women in the kingdom. Mainly he is looking for husbands for his daughters. So Isla couldn't care less about all of this she would rather be in her tower locked up with her books that is until she sees Logan across the ballroom. She like every other woman in the kingdom has heard about his curse. Can she have found the prince of her dreams or will his beast ruin it all for them both. 

Logan is going to the ball with his friend because he must. As ruler of his kingdom he must find a wife to become king. Really he thinks he should stay away from everyone so that his beast won't cause any more harm. However that all changes when he first lays eyes on Isla at the ball. He doesn't know what it is about her but the beast comes out in full force anywhere near her. Can he control the beast and win the woman or will he loose it all?

This is a great retelling of beauty and the beast with some hot twists to it. Though you may have read the story before you have never read it like this. I will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
