Review of Ragnar by Vi Voxley

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Ragnar and Selena Gordon. When this book opens Selena is in the library working on homework for the local college she is going to. She has just gotten out of an abusive relationship and is trying to put her life back on track. Little did she know that when she re-enrolled that it had tipped off her ex-boyfriend and he had found her. Running has never worked so this time she is determined to stand her ground and fight for the right to have her own life. This however is short lived when the alarms go off letting them know that the Nayanors are there. They never leave men alive and Selena doesn’t want the guilt on her conscience. This isn’t something she will get to choose though. When the leader decides she is his fated nothing and no one will stand in his way. Can she be with him though when she is already so broken herself? What will happen to her if she can’t be what he wants?

Ragnar has been numb since the murder of his brother. He has no faith in the female species and doesn’t see himself changing his mind. However on this run he knows in his spirit that his fated will be found this time. He believes that it will make no difference to him all he wants her for is to provide him with sons, nothing more. However the instant he sees her in the clutches of her ex everything changes for him. As they spend time together he realizes there is more to her than what he originally thought. However is he as broken as she is? Can he make the bond work or will his past drive a wedge between them that they will never come back from?

How can two broken people make a lasting relationship work, especially when it is built on force to begin with? This is the question these two must answer. Also will they let the past drive them or can they look to the future and find something amazing. This book has many ups and downs I want to tell you all about but don’t want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book is amazing and will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
