Review of My Alien Warrior by Vi Voxley & Juno Wells

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Caden and Alina. Alina is a human scientist that has come to Skaoi to find out all there is to learn about the new planet that has joined the alliance. Though she has had problems with men on earth nothing will compare to the men on Skaoi. The men on this planet are warriors which means they conquer others. They are also a very religious people who believe that the Surya control all that happens in their lives. They also believe that the Surya bring them their other half so though Alina has no knowledge of these teachings the first time she sees Caden she feels it. Like her other half is clicking into place. The problem is she is an outsider though. Will the elders accept her or is she destined to only live as half a woman?

Caden has fought many wars and finds himself most comfortable on the bridge of his ship. He never aspired to be more but when the attack on the elders happens he steps in as a general to allow someone else to be an interim elder. He finds it is exactly as he feared to much politics not enough of what he is good at which is improving the Skaoi people. That is until he meets the delegate from Earth. When the men step out he thinks this will be just another boring job he is forced to do as a general but when Alina steps out he knows he has found his other half. Can he keep her or will he be forced to be half a man because he is not accepted ?

This book is great it has a strong female character and an amazing story. There are many twists and turns in it that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. There are so many things that I want to say about this book but don't want to ruin any of the surprises for anyone. I will say that this is an amazing book that you will not want to put down. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
