Review of Rebel Pax by Elyssa Ebbott

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we get Mira's story we also meet the exiled king Pax. When this story opens up we find that Mira didn't become the ambassador we though she would at the end of Rebel Kato. Instead she has been trying to figure out what she wants to do next. When one of the other seamstress suggests that she become a pilot she is off.  One of her first flights doesn't go so well but leads her to find the exiled king who little did she know would change her life. Can she be with a man who is so wild and rough or will she run at the first chance she gets for something more safe?

Pax is looking for a way to kill himself ever since his exile he has not found anything to live for. Then this shuttle crashes not far from him and something compels him to check it out. Little did he know what he would find there would alter his life forever. The woman who looks like she has golden hair draws him like none other and he knows he must save her. What happens though when the woman he is growing to want more than his own life learns his secrets will she run from him or will she want him as much as he wants her?

If you haven't read Rebel Kato this is ok you meet Mira in that book and get some of her backstory but it does not effect this book. Each of them can be read as a stand alone. This book however the twists and turns that are in make you want to lock the door, turn off the ringer, send the kids to grandma and curl up with it till you see the words the end. It will hook you from the first word to the very end. There are so many things I want to tell you about but do not want to ruin this book for you. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
