I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
In this book we meet Artemis and Jasper. Artemis is brought in to Asher Lumber Co. to help with the promotion of some of the less profitable area's. She is teamed up with Jasper who is know around the office as Rumpled Bear Skin because apparently he takes women up to his cabin in the woods and has sex with them on this rug, hence the nick name. But Artemis is here for another reason all together her father told the Asher's that she could turn anything she touches into gold. That is not necessarily true but she has had amazing sucess with the companies she has worked for to this point. Artemis wonders can she do the same for Asher lumber or will she loose it all to one Rumpled Bear Skin?
Jasper hates the nickname he has gotten but with all the women he has been with to actually find it fated mate he gets why he has it. The problem he has now is the one woman who might really be his in every way has also heard that stupid nickname and is holding it against him. Could it be that he has finally found his mate? Will he loose her before he even gets a chance to really have her because of his nickname or the other secrets he is carrying?
This is a great twist on the Rumpelstiltskin story. This of course includes one hunk of a bear shifter, and one woman who can turn anything into gold. They have to figure out how to work together without letting all the tension get in the way. This book has a few twists and turns in it but will remind you of some of the original story-line. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone it is a great short read.
