Review of Bound to Surrender by Jenna Jacob

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we find out how Trevor is really doing since his attack. Moses (Daddy Drake) is at his wits end trying to not only fix his boy but to find a way to elevate his own guilt. Trevor knows he isn't himself and though he is trying things to come back he can't seem to find the way. He also knows that he is hurting the man that holds his heart. Trevor is constantly fighting the demons that are coming for him in his head. He is afraid that one day the demons will win and he will hurt someone he loves. His first thought is to run as fast and as far as he can but those who love him aren't ready to let him go yet. Will Trevor come back from this or will the sub they all know and love be lost to them forever?

Daddy isn't ready to give up on his boy yet. He is willing to do whatever it takes to bring him back from the hell his mind has taken him to. Sleepless nights not withstanding he is willing to do anything and he means anything to get Trevor back in his arms with love not just to chase away the nightmares. Daddy watches the things that first attracted him to Trevor slowly slipping away as Trevor tries to better himself so that what happened to him in the past will never happen again. Moses knows that he will never allow his boy to be put in that position again and the guilt that eats at him is slowly hurting his relationship as much as Trevor's need to protect himself. Can daddy find a way to not only heal his boy but heal himself as well from what happened that night?

This is a very poignant story about what happens when someone goes through something very traumatic and the things they have to do to bring themselves out of the darkness and back to the light. I also like how this author shows the amount of love that is around Trevor even though in his state he isn't seeing it. There are so many things that happen in this book that I want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I would recommend reading Seduced by My Doms first to see what happened to Trevor and to the men who attacked him that night just so you totally understand what is happening in this book. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone though.
