Review of A Mate for the Senator by Vi Voxley

I received this book with the understand that I had the choice to leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we get more of Eleya and we are introduced to Xaven. As you remember Eleya has already met her mate but rejected the mating due to the fact that the man was insane. Many applauded her honesty about this situation but Eleya just feels like it is one more thing she had to give up in her life. So when she steps on to her old ship she gets the shock of her life when her eyes meet Xaven's. Can she let go of the past and allow herself a chance at something real this time or will she let it dicate her and loose the most preciouos thing.

Xaven has never wanted to be more than he was, which he new was unusally for a Brion. However when his eyes meet Eleya's he knows he has found something to fight for. Though with her past he knows that this won't be easy though no matings worth having ever are. Can he find a way to break past her walls and capture her heart or will they both be left adrift?

This is a great short story that shows us that fighting for love is never a bad thing. This story does have some twists in it that I will not ruin for any other readers. However I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
