I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Nina Owens and Ryker "Ry" Williams. When this book opens we find these two people at party thrown by one other than the Steele clan. Nina is Jess's best friend and god mother to Tanner (Jess and Carter's son who we meet in Wrong to Love You). Ry is there because he and his father owners of Williams Shipping have just secured the rights to be the shipping company for the Steels in all their overseas shipping. So they are all together celebrating this. Nina has been in town for a week visiting her friend and godson and is suppose to leave the next day. So while sitting all alone just people watching a very attractive man comes over and talks to her one thing leads to another and they have a wild time both think is a one time thing and they will never see the other again. Fast forward a year later. Just a week after that party Ry lost his dad. Though he wanted to know if their could have been more between him and Nina their wasn't time to figure out. He put his head into his work and has come up since. The VP has had enough of being run ragged because he won't hire a new executive assistant so when she tells him she has prospects he tells her to just hire whoever. Not long after that he learns he should have taken a closer look. Will these two find a HEA or will secrets destroy what might have been?
Another hit out of the park with this story by this author. These characters will draw you in and not let go even when you read those two words "the end". I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
