I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this story we meet Dee Duffy and Cain Burch. Dee is a PI who is looking for a man who lives in the woods. She figures it will be a quick in and out job and she will be back on her way to the city. What she didn't plan on was hot attracted to this man and to find out he has a son. She needs the money though and knows she can't walk away from this job. Cain has been on the run for years now and with one look at the woman at his door he knows his time is up. He really wants to let his walls down but isn't sure she is being truthful about who she is and why she is there. What happens when the past comes calling again because of one picture? Will they have a HEA or will they survive at all?
Amazing story. The characters have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
