Review of Daddy's Law by K.C. Crowne

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Ava Cruise and Theo Philips. Ava has an after school art club that she really enjoys teaching. In fact one of her favorite students is a boy names Cory. When she sees Cory be bullied she tries to step in but without seeing what happened it makes it harder when he says nothing. When she finally catches them they are removed from the program and she tells Cory how even though it is for older students she would like him in the end of year art exhibition. Cory is tried until they have to talk to her dad. The same man she literally ran into in a coffee shop. Theo hasn't been as involved in his sons life as he would like with his job and having a hard time since losing his wife. He knows something is going on with Cory but just figure out what it is. With his son not talking honestly with him he is left to wonder what he should do. When Cory's art teacher that he raves about asks about putting him in some end of year art project he is hesitant to put that kind of pressure on his son. When he sees his son's disappointment he wonders if he taking the one thing right now that makes his son happy away from him. The other problem is he can't get Ava out of his mind. He always vowed to only love his wife but is their a chance for them for a HEA?

Amazing story by this author. These characters really jump off the page and grab hold of you. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
