I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Kat & Vaxtin. Kat is a grad student out on a sited on a mountain in Montana when she finds something that shouldn't be there. When she realizes the only person she can talk to about it she almost wishes there was any other option. The guy she has been seeing makes her want to break up with him as soon as possible. When she gets back to camp to talk to him she finds him cheating on her. To top off her day while digging her professor finds an object none of them can explain. When everyone descends on them she finds a guy there that just doesn't seem to belong so she throws him off but there is just something that makes her want him back. Vaxtin is part of the Vakutan race and is on Earth to help protect them from other aliens who are trying to destroy the future of not only Earth but other planets as well. When he is assigned to check out the object he isn't sure what it is but knows it shouldn't be here or at least not in this time. When a woman he can't get out of his mind kicks him off the site. He is determined to come back to get more information. What happens thought when he finds that woman again. Will these two find a HEA or will the future of the planet keep them apart?
Another amazing story by this author. These characters hook you from the first word and won't let go until the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
