Review of The One and Only by Ajme Williams

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Laura Loomis and Cade Kirkpatrick. During their senior year in high school these two dated but only in secret. The thing is they may have been a secret but Cade was very protective of her none the less. When they graduated they were supposed to go to college together and live HEA. That isn't what happened though. Cade did go off to college and is being groomed to be the next congressmen of his state. Laura though she didn't make it instead she got pregnant with a beautiful little boy and started her own event planning business. This is all going ok for Cade and good for Laura until the day Cade's mother can't meet with the wedding planner for his sham of a marriage. Yes Cade is engaged to another woman. Sure he might not love her but he is willing to do it for appearance sake. Laura however knows the one thing she has to do is keep her child a secret if nothing else than to protect him. Will these two find their way to the HEA they both long for or will they just wish for the love they can never have?

This is another amazing story by this author. It will really have you on an emotional roller-coaster with these characters. One minute you are rooting for them the next you want to slap one. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
