Review of Bearly Sleeping by Cara Wylde

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we Rose and Tavian. Rose is destined to be queen one day but she lacks self confidence so this allows people to use her. Rose just wants all the gifts the fairies granted her at her birth but so far she hasn't seen any of them. She also wants real friends not like the ones she currently has now who put her down and then tell her it's just because their being honest with her. Then one day they talk her into the one thing she should never do which is touch the spinning wheel. Rose isn't sure about the curse that one of the fairy's put on her but she refuses to be intimidated by it. What if she's wrong will anyone help save the town then?

How far would you go to get back the woman you love? Tavian has to answer that very question. When Rose tells him that she and her friends are going to prove the curse isn't real Tavian is shocked. He sees the gifts the fairy's gave this woman he only wishes he could get her to see it but the three evil woman that she calls friends never give her a chance. So Tavian does the only thing he can he leaves town and looks for a way to get back the one woman who means the world to him. The one woman he can't live without. Will he make it in time though and what will he have to sacrifice to get her?

This is a really good short story. It is a twist on the sleeping beauty tale. This tale also shows us how blind we can be to the good things around us because of all the negativity that we allow in our life. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
