Review of Forbidden Prescription by Stephanie Brother

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Isabella Carter and James Johnson. Isabella is a career driven woman who knows what she wants and won't let anything get in her way. That is until she meets the incredibly attractive James. For the first time in her life Isabella has met a man that makes her pause in her goal. Oh mind you she won't abandon them for anyone but pause is a different story. The problem Isabella has though is the more time she spends with James the more she wants to spend with him. All that changes though when her mother calls and wants her to meet her latest husband who just happens to be James's father. Can she get over the fact of who James is or will she destroy the one man who could possible help her have it all?

James isn't looking for love he sure isn't looking for it with the new intern in the surgical rotation but there she is. James knows Isabella is something special not just in her field but as a woman as well. He knows what his goals are and knows that being with this woman will line up with all he wants to accomplish in his life. The thing is since his parents got their divorce when he was little he doesn't see his father as much as he would like with his busy schedule. So when he brings his new wife to town James thinks this will just be another woman in this father's life little did he know the reproductions it would have in his own life. James wants Isabelle for the long haul not just a right now kind of thing but can he convince her that he can help her have it all or will he loose the best woman in his life?

This is an amazing story about 2 people who are very focused on their goals for their future. So much so that they almost miss something amazing. I think the way the author shows the pressures of real life and how it can really intrude on a career will really draw you into these characters. There are so many things that happen in this book that I want to tell you about but don't want to ruin the story for anyone. I will say that this book is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
