Review of Trapped in the Stars by Lynn Red

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Elizabeth Monroe and Lakshin Sang. When this book opens we find that Elizabeth is barley hanging on as her ship is being blown to bits. She doesn't understand why this is happening because she was sent out on a peace mission for the galactic union. Lakshin Sang offers her something she shouldn't be getting though a chance to figure out why she was sent out to this place in space to die. The instant she sees Sang she knows there is another reason she is willing to take his help and it has nothing to do with the union. Can she find out why someone wants to kill her without loosing what could be the one true love for her or will they both go up in flames for her curiosity?

Sang knows there is something special about this woman he just doesn't know what it is and is unwilling to allow her to die before he figures it out. Sang isn't just the captain of this ship he is so much more. Even more than even he knows but as he gets closer to this woman he realizes this something more is meant to love and protect her. Sang is not blameless in the mistakes that are made later in this story but is unwilling to see them that way due to the fact that it brings them even closer. Can he help this woman find out what is going on or will he loose the best thing to come into his life?

This is a great story about 2 ship captains who know their duties but also know there is more to what is going on then just their duty. There are many twists and turns in this story that I really want to tell you about but don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I will say this is an amazing book that will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
