Review of Taulan: Dragons of Preor by Celia Kyle

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book is the second in the series but can be read as a stand alone.

In this book we meet Lana and Taulan. When this book opens up we find out what happened to Taulan that day on the ship where War Master Jarek nearly lost his wings to a faction of dragons that don't wish humans and preor to mate. Taulan on the other hand was not so lucky in this battle and did loose his wings completely. As he prepares to to ask permission to return to their home planet to breath in his last breath on this something happens that he didn't think was possible. While watching the Ujal's child he warns her that she mus-int go into the water for he can not follow. Though she promises she does it anyway when a woman he has never seen before goes into to help her something he never thought would happen for him the knowing begins. Now he just has to figure a way to get to the woman and find out who she is and how quickly he can make her his. To bad there is more to her story that could stand in his way then he ever knew.

When we meet Lana we find that she needs a job due to the fact that she is  down to her last $100 dollars and knows that if she doesn't get it she can't eat much longer. Lana hasn't had it easy she has just recently escaped a violent relationship and vows to herself that she will never be that way again. After watching this big man do nothing as the child he came out with cries out for help in the water she knows she has to help. She knows she wants to be mad at the man but there is something about him that keeps drawing her in. Though she knows nothing about the knowing she can feel it pressing in on her and with her vow of never being controlled again she pushes it away. However there is something about Taulan that makes her feel safe, but she isn't sure she can trust that feeling.

This is an amazing story about overcoming some major hurdles and allowing yourself the chance to find something special again. This book has many ups and downs in it that will have you on the edge of your seat from the very first word to the very end. I would like to say so much about this book but as a reader I like to experience things for myself so I will leave this open for you to find out what happens in this story. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. This author and this book is an absolute must read.
