Review of Man of the House by B.B Hamel

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary honest review.

In this book we meet Emily and Carter. When this book opens up Emily is told that her mom has married Carter and they need her help to show the world a happy loving family. There are just a few problems with this. First Emily knows it is a scam and isn't sure they can pull it off. Second it seems from the moment she meets Carter he is hitting on her. Emily is sure that this will blow-up in all their faces but for her mom's sake she is willing to play along. How long will it be though before the feelings she is developing for Carter become a problem for all of them?

Carter knows he should leave well enough alone with Emily. However she is just what he looks for in a woman and he can't help himself. He knows he needs both her and her mother to help him gain back control of his company before the board finds a way to get rid of him but he just can't help himself. The more time he spends with Emily the more time he wants to. Can he find a way to have it all or will he end up having to give up something in the end? If so what will he choose?

This is a great story that grabs you from the first word and doesn't let go to the very end. I want to tell you so many things that happen in this book but don't wan to ruin it for anyone else. I will say that this book is an amazing story about finding out what is really important and fighting for it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
