Review of What Might Kill Us by M.N. Forgy

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary honest review.

In this book we get Bull's story and are introduced to Anahi Gomez. Anahi is taken in by her uncle after her father and step-mother die. Both she and her step-brother Alvaro are taken in with the understanding that they would be taken care of. Little did she know what exactly that meant in her family. Anahi is part of a Mexican drug cartel all she wants is to get to America like her mother and have her freedom. Little did she know she would be not only a drug mule but a dealer as well. Alvaro who she thought would protect her turned into a monster. So when she runs into Bull she isn't sure is he her new tormentor or new protector? How can she find out without putting herself in danger again?

Bull is looking for revenge and that is one of the only things driving him these days. So when he runs literally into Anahi he thinks he finally has his first real lead. The problem is this girl makes him feel things he hasn't in years. Can he use her to get to the men who killed his brothers and the one girl he thought he would make his? Or will this girl change him in ways that he never thought possible?

There are many twists and turns in this book. There are also so dark tones to this book but it will have you on the edge of your seat from the first word to the very end. I would like to tell you more about this book but do not want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
