I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary honest review.
In this book we meet by Joanna and Stone. Joanna has just left everything including her lying, cheating boyfriend. The only thing she took with her was her beat-up 15 year old Dodge Stratus. Because she was on no real time frame to get to her friend house she decided to take the back roads to Phoenix. Of course because her luck is going so great her car breaks down. With no one for miles and very little water she isn't sure what she is going to do until she sees a biker coming down the road. This is decision time does she hide in her car and hope someone else will come along before she bakes herself to death or go for the biker? She decides to take her chances with the biker but will this be the only time she will be making this choice or will their paths cross again?
Stone doesn't date, he doesn't pick up women along the side of the road either but there is just something about this woman that makes him want to break all his rules. Well almost all his rules Stone knows he lives a hard life and doesn't think good girl Joanna needs to be dragged down into it. So he decides if he can have this woman it will only be for one night. Will he have her though or will she see all his bad boy ways and steer clear of him?
Can one sort of good girl and one bad boy find love that lasts or will it be like a falling star only there for a short time? This is a great book that asks the question how much would you change for love? There are many twist and turns that I really want to tell you about but don't want to ruin any of the surprises in this book. I will say this is a book that will hook you from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it.
