In this book we meet Caliana and Owen. Calina and Owen have know each other for years they shared one kiss before Cali is going off to college. Cali goes after her dreams but finds that she is unfulfilled with them. So she quits her job and goes to spend a couple of weeks at the cabin her aunt Rhea left her. They were very close and having this retreat both makes her sad and relaxes her in so many ways. While there she sees someone she never thought she would Owen and he looks better than she thought that he would after not seeing him for 10 years. She is hoping that maybe they might have a second chance but after being hurt in the past she is more cautious than she was before.
Owen cones home one night to his cabin and sees a jeep in the neighbor's parking lot he wonders who it could be but thinks nothing of it until he sees her. The one girl he has never stopped wanting and hoping that someday she would come back to him. Owen isn't sure how long she is at her aunt's place but even though it means a longer drive to work he is determined to spend every moment he has with her. He is hoping that this might be their second chance.
This story is a beautiful story about two people who find falling in love with just the right person is magical no matter how much time passes between you. This story does have its twist and turns just because they are falling in love again doesn't mean those around them are happy about it. As they spend more time together and the connection grows stronger so does the danger to Cali.
This is an amazing story and an absolute must read. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
