Review of Bear the Heat by Lynn Red

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Breaker and Rory. Breaker is a firefighting Werebear that is one of the best around. Every squad wishes they had a Breaker on their crew. The one thing that chief Daniel's sees more and more in his eyes though is the longing for a mate. Chief Daniels knows that Breaker isn't into the bar scene and meeting woman at fires is not the way to go. So he does what any true fried would do he sets him up with Eve and her match making service. Breaker isn't sure about this but the chief has been his friend for a long time and he is going to trust him. With the first look at Rory though he isn't sure he wants to work with Eve because he wants Rory, now if only he can get her to want him too.

Rory is the typical bookworm. She is all about her forensic work and doesn't have time for dating. There are times though that her partner hears something in her voice that leads him to believe she is looking for a mate of her own and he knows just the woman to help her. Rory goes to the appointment with Eve that she was tricked into. However one look at Breaker and she hopes he is her mate.

This is another hit in this series. These two have some bumps in the road and at times you aren't sure where they will end up. I would recommend it. It will have you rooting for them one minute and wanting to laugh at them the next. Amazing story that will have you hooked from the first word to the very last.
