Review of Rogue Male by Ruby Fielding

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.

In this book we meet Iain and Skye. These two met at the university while still attending school. After Iain leaves to return home they continue to communicate by text and by e-mail. Skye has grown to believe that there might really be a chance for her and Iain to possibly have something more. However when she when she gets to his little village she begins to have doubts. Skye never wanted to be one of those love sick girl that hangs on for to long but can she see things rationally with Iain or is she domed to be just another heart break for this man?

Iain is keeping secrets from everyone. He is very impulsive which more times than not get him into trouble. He is hoping not to drag Skye down with him but there is just something about her. He isn't sure now is the best time for her to come but the effect she has on him makes him want to try anything to keep her. However can he he rain himself in enough to keep her or will he destroy something amazing before it is all over?

If you can get past the fact that the first chapter of this story takes so long to get back to this is a really good story. It is about love, acceptance, and finding out who and what you are willing to fight for possibly even to your doubt. There are some European references that you might not understand but it doesn't make it hard to follow. For example her car is and old 2CV I had to look this up I had never heard of it. It is a cute little car, just nothing I had ever heard of. This book over all is an amazing story not just a love story but about a man who needs to not only find out about love but what he is fighting for himself. I would recommend it.
