Review of Her Kind of Boss by Kayla White

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Hazel Delany and Carter Derrickson. Hazel is a good girl that takes care of her mother works and does little else in her life. So when she gets fired from her waitressing job she knows she has no choice but to find a new one. The next job she lands is better she is now the new secretary for Carter Derrickson. This would be great if her boss wasn't so hot and she didn't feel like there is some type of chemistry bouncing between them. She needs this job to keep a roof over both her and her mother's head. Is she willing to risk everything for a chance with her boss?

Carter knows there is something special about Hazel the first day he meets her. Though she is completely efficient, he is attracted to her and to him this spells trouble. Not to mention his family is controlling and though he runs the company now they still treat him like a child and threaten to take it away at any moment. He has tried introducing them to one woman and with the disaster that was he has never tried again. However there is just something about Hazel that make his want more. Will he be willing to put it all on the line for her or will he fall in line with his controlling family?

This is a great short story that shows us standing up and wanting more isn't always a bad thing. There are some twists and turns in this story that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. Included in this book are 2 bonus stories that will have you cheering for more. There is so much more I want to tell you but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say that I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
